This past Monday night, The Other Place Theatre Cooperative performed The Stranger by Albert Camus, adapted for the stage by Nick Green. The performance took place at Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington, in front of an audience of 250 people and was followed by a 15 minute talk back session.

It was such an amazing experience to finally perform this piece and to receive feedback from the audience. We could not have been more pleased with the response.

The play will perform in Moscow, Idaho, in late August before heading to Victoria, British Columbia to take part in the 18th Annual Victoria Fringe Festival from August 26th - September 1st. Additionally, a tentative Mid-August performance is in the works for Sandpoint, Idaho.

For now, we're taking a bit of a "break." Many of us also work with Idaho Repertory Theatre, and we're just about to get underway.

Idaho Repertory Theatre for Youth will produce two shows for kids this summer: Mountain Fables, a UI original production and our world premier for the summer, and Seagirl by Francis Elitzig. Also, this summer IRT-Y has expanded it's programming to offer theatre workshops for kids ages K-6th grade.
