We've had two weeks off, and tonight starts our second weekend of performances. We had a week for the American College Theatre Festival, and a week to rebuild. While the majority of the UI Dept. of Theatre & Film was away in Bellvue, Washington, at the theatre conference, the UI campus was overrun with the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. To make room for concerts in the Kiva theatre, we had to strike most of the set following our February 16th performance.

This weekend also coincides with Freshman Weekend at the university. We're expecting a good bunch of prospective theatre students to attend a special matinee performance this Saturday, the 8th, at 1:00p.

We began pick-up rehearsals this past Monday. The subsequent rehearsals have been packed with amazing energy. It's been great to watch the actors rediscover the play.
